OVERVIEW
Crowdfeeding brings donors, foodbanks, clients, and delivery drivers into one trusted application. Donors publish available food, clients can receive food from a foodbank or donor, foodbanks maintain stock and coordinate requests, and drivers complete the last-mile movement of items to the client.
THE PROBLEM
Food donation can fail even when food is available if discovery, storage, beneficiary access, and last-mile delivery are not coordinated. Donors may have usable food while clients or foodbanks lack a structured way to discover and request it.
Foodbanks must manage stock while coordinating donors, clients, requests, and order status, and without a shared status flow, participants can lose track of whether an order is pending, processing, ready, picked up, delivered, or completed.

HOW WE FRAMED THE IDEA
The product was framed around one operational principle: every donation should move through a visible chain of responsibility. A donor creates supply, a client or foodbank requests or receives it, a foodbank may store and manage it, and a driver completes pickup and delivery.
Product pillars included donation supply, access & discovery, inventory coordination, and last-mile delivery, each role seeing only the information and actions relevant to it, while the platform keeps the underlying order connected end to end.
ARCHITECTURAL THESIS
“Reducing food waste wasn't about listing more donations, it came from framing every donation as a traceable order moving through donor, foodbank, and driver roles to the client.”
THINK & BUILD
The prototype unifies four distinct role experiences inside one product family, keeping product, order, inventory, client, and delivery information synchronized across roles through a shared order lifecycle: pending, processing, ready to deliver, picked up, delivered, and completed.
A donor creates a food listing with item details and stock, a client browses and requests an item, a foodbank and/or donor prepares it for fulfillment, and a driver accepts the delivery task, picks up, and transports the item to the client.

THE SOLUTION
Crowdfeeding provides a coordinated path from available food to completed delivery, donors publish products, clients browse and receive food, foodbanks maintain inventory and coordinate participants, and drivers move orders from pickup point to recipient, with a shared order history and status flow keeping the journey visible across the platform.
