OVERVIEW
Pioneer Times Attendance is a secure workforce presence platform built for organizations operating across offices, branches, and field locations. It combines identity verification, location-aware attendance, employee self-service, and centralized administrative oversight in one cross-platform suite.
THE PROBLEM
Distributed organizations faced recurring attendance control gaps. Traditional biometric terminals could not reliably serve field teams, manual records created payroll delays, and administrators lacked a dependable way to confirm whether a punch actually occurred at an approved work location.
Core challenges included proxy or buddy punching with insufficient identity assurance, unreliable field attendance with limited proof of on-site presence, and manual payroll reconciliation that pushed month-end attendance review into a multi-day exercise.

HOW WE FRAMED THE IDEA
The product concept was framed around one core rule: attendance should be accepted only when identity, location, and policy conditions agree. From that principle, the experience was shaped around four practical product pillars: verify identity, verify location, reduce HR dependency, and create management visibility.
Facial verification during punch-in strengthens confidence that the registered employee is making the attendance event, while live GPS and configurable geofences validate attendance against an approved branch or field radius.
ARCHITECTURAL THESIS
“Attendance integrity wasn't found in a stricter policy memo, it came from framing every punch as an event that only resolves when identity and location agree.”
THINK & BUILD
The solution was designed as a multi-tier platform that separates the mobile experience, application logic, enterprise data, and third-party verification services. Flutter powers cross-platform mobile clients for employee punch-in, attendance history, leave workflows, and payslip access.
ASP.NET Core REST APIs handle authentication, attendance rules, leave approvals, geofence validation, and reporting, while an Oracle Database stores transactional workforce records, attendance logs, and audit-ready history. Google Maps API powers geofencing, radius visualization, and reverse geocoding.
