OVERVIEW
PAAQ is a mobile platform built to connect people directly with verified professionals for personalized one-to-one sessions. The app supports both sides of the marketplace, users can discover experts, review profiles, follow professionals, message, attend events, and book sessions, while experts build profiles, set availability, manage bookings, and earn through their knowledge and time.
THE PROBLEM
People often struggle to find reliable answers online because information is scattered, generic, and not always trustworthy, and they do not always know which professional to trust or how to reach that person quickly.
Expert advice and scheduling often happen across multiple tools, making booking, follow-up, and communication inefficient, while professionals need a structured way to present their expertise, manage their time, and monetize one-to-one guidance.

HOW WE FRAMED THE IDEA
We framed the idea around a trusted expert-access platform where users discover qualified professionals by topic, interest, and profile quality, supporting both 'seeker' and 'expert' journeys inside the same ecosystem.
Sessions are made easy to book by combining discovery, profile information, ratings, reviews, pricing, and scheduling tools, while experts manage availability, receive bookings, and grow an audience without depending on fragmented channels.
ARCHITECTURAL THESIS

THINK & BUILD
The platform combines a Flutter cross-platform mobile client with a Node.js backend for APIs, business logic, and service orchestration, hosted on AWS for scalable cloud infrastructure. Branch.io powers deep linking and attribution across shared profiles and sessions.
Payments are split across Stripe for event payments and Apple/Google in-app purchases for expert session payments, with Apple Pay and Google Pay supported where available, all backed by an admin dashboard for platform operations.

THE SOLUTION
PAAQ brings expert discovery, direct sessions, scheduling, and community interaction into one mobile experience, giving users a structured way to find relevant professionals and connect through bookable one-to-one sessions, while experts turn their knowledge into an actionable, monetizable service model.
